Monthly Love Horoscopes - June 2017
Four months after first returning to Aries in early February Venus, planet of love is finally getting ready to move on. Not due to leave until the 6th June, this gives you a few more days to work with the planet of love and guardian of your relationships. Venus has been on an extended mission to define your romantic and relationship desires and expectations for the coming year. Normally here for just 24 hours, there had to be a reason why she has been reluctant to leave. With Jupiter making his first visit to your relationship sector in 12 years there is no mystery when it comes to your relationships. However, until last month there was no romantic incentive for Venus to hang around. That changed when the North Node returned to your romantic sector on the 10th May. June is the North Node's first full month here in 17 years, with the potential for a fateful journey over the next 18 months. The North Node is the second luckiest force in the solar system behind Jupiter, so to have it in your romantic sector while Jupiter is in your relationship sector, suddenly makes sense of why Venus has been reluctant to leave. By the time Venus leaves Aries on the 6th June she'll leave you with a clear sense of what you want on both fronts, along with the confidence of knowing matters of the heart and your relationships are in safe hands. In retrograde motion in your relationship sector until the 10th June, Jupiter will hold the doors open to the past and second chances until then. A relationship turnaround comes with plenty of support from the relationship gods.
To start with it is business as usual on the romantic front. The only difference being that with the North Node no longer in your romantic sector, a sense of romantic nostalgia is likely to have taken hold. It was back in early February that Venus, planet of love returned to a nostalgic part of your chart, something that should have put her just 24 days away from Taurus. However, time went on and instead of moving on, Venus did a U turn and headed back the way she came. Venus is back in retrograde motion, but is still in a nostalgic part of your chart. It was the North Node's departure from your romantic sector on the 10th May that compounded a sense of romantic nostalgia, for until then this has kept at least some focus on the journey ahead. Since then Venus had been able to take a sense of romantic nostalgia to a whole new level. This epic nostalgic trip down love's memory lane finally comes to an end on the 6th June, when Venus finally returns to Taurus. Here Venus, planet of love will spend the next month making up for lost time. The Moon will play an important part in both a nostalgic phase and in terms of moving on. The Moon will move through your romantic sector from the 1st June to the 3rd June, with romantically charged lunar vibes in effect during the early days of the month. This is during the final days of a nostalgic trip down love's memory lane. By the time the Moon returns from the 28th June to the 30th June Venus will be well on the way to bring new romantic experiences.
A sense of relationship and romantic nostalgia is set to deepen this month, with conditions also improving on both fronts. Jupiter has been in retrograde motion in your romantic sector since early February, with not a lot of support during that time. However that started to change late last month, as pressure eased back and support kicked in. Until turning direct on the 10th June Jupiter's final days in retrograde motion will dominate the early part of the month. This makes the timing of Venus, planet of love's return to a nostalgic part of your chart on the 6th June timely. While returning just days before Jupiter is due to turn direct, this will increase a sense of romantic nostalgia in the final days. With a sense of romantic nostalgia coming from the planets of love and luck, this will give you the confidence to seize the second chances on offer. Even though the romantic tide will turn on the 10th June, Venus will keep a sense of romantic nostalgia alive all month. Not due to turn direct until late August, Saturn will spend the whole of June in retrograde motion in your relationship sector. An opposition with Mars late last month saw relationship tensions come to a head in the final days of May. This is easing off as you move into the new month, but this has put you on alert that a battle between your personal and relationship needs is being waged. Mars brought the toughest wakeup calls, but the middle part of the month could see tension rise again. This could be kicked off by a Full Moon in your career sector on the 10th May. At the end of the day this is all about balancing your personal and relationship needs, making it essential to keep the communication lines open.
Don't be put off by a lack of romantic activity or the fact that Venus, planet of love is running late. Venus won't even return to Cancer until early August, after your birthday month has been and gone. Yet the message from Venus is the same this month as it has been for several months, which is to 'trust me'. For the last four months Venus seems to have been more focused on professional rather than romantic matters. Yet knowing what lies ahead, Venus has been working behind the scenes to try and create the right work/life balance. That might not seem important now, but with professional matters continuing to evolve all year this was always going to be important. Even more so with your luckiest year for love starting in October. Venus' late return to Cancer this year will be an advantage, for by the time she leaves lucky Jupiter will be just over six weeks away from your romantic sector. Already this is something the love gods are lining up for, with last month's Full Moon in your romantic sector the first chance to jump start matters of the heart. The Moon will come full circle from this from the 5th June to the 8th June. These romantically charged lunar vibes will be in effect when Venus finally returns to a social and serendipitous part of your chart on the 6th June. For the following month Venus will keep the laws of attraction and synchronicity in effect. The closest Venus will have come this year to bringing at least some romantic influence into play.
Saturn might be in retrograde motion in your romantic sector, but he's determined to make his third retrograde phase in as many years and last for another three decades count. Not due to turn direct here until August, the doors will remain open to the past and second chances all month. Those doors to the past will be open when a Full Moon here on the 10th June will jump start romantic matters. This is a romantically charged Full Moon that will always fall here at this time every year, but again it will be another three decades before Saturn is here. This is important, for while Saturn can be the hard taskmaster of the cosmos, he gives you the courage to take responsibility. This is one Full Moon you won't be able to turn a blind eye to. Romantically charged lunar vibes will be in effect from the 8th June to the 10th June, giving you plenty of lead up to this Lovers Moon. Saturn demands that you take responsibility and that you take matters of the heart seriously, so expect to have your excuses challenged. This makes it important to embrace a sense of romance, adventure and nostalgia the month starts with. It is on the 6th June that Venus, planet of love will finally leave an adventurous part of your chart, leaving you with a reminder that it's all about the journey. At the same time the lunar nodes are spending their first full month policing a balance between your personal and relationship needs. This may see relationship tension come to a head in the early and later days of the month and again midmonth. This is just the Moon testing the balance between your personal and relationship needs, something it will do every two weeks for the next 18 months. Having the communication lines open is everything.
There is something special developing on the romantic and relationship fronts and this month things get even better. Pluto, in your romantic sector from 2008 to 2024, will always spend from April to September in retrograde motion. This has become part of the annual pattern, but this year Pluto is well supported. That will be especially so when Venus, planet of love returns to an adventurous part of your chart on the 6th June. Until she leaves on the 5th July Venus will be on especially good terms with Pluto, together creating a potent cocktail of romance, adventure and nostalgia. This will become more potent as the month continues, with something special developing in the period from the 19th June to the 25th June. Yet it is on the relationship front that there has been a real turnaround. From November 2015 to May 2017 the lunar nodes had policed a balance between your personal and relationship needs. Throughout that time you have the South Node in your relationship sector and the North Node in Virgo, always in opposition. This created a subtle sense of relationship tension that would come to a head every two weeks, as the Moon moved through either Virgo or your relationship sector. The lunar nodes left on the 10th May, so a drop off in pressure is something you're still adjusting too. This has taken the pressure off Neptune and Chiron, the planets in your relationship sector until 2026 and 2019. As Neptune turns retrograde on the 16th June and Chiron on the 1st July, this will open the doors to a special rebuilding phase.
This is not a time of year where you can expect too much focus on your relationships and virtually none on matters of the heart. Your relationship sector is the only area of your chart that is likely to have been active the whole of your life and will remain active for another three decades. That's because Eris has been here since 1924, for the most part watching from a distance but always demanding truth and authenticity. With Uranus here since 2010, you're in one of the most defining relationship chapters in a lifetime, a chapter that will continue out to March 2019. However, this year has seen a lot more focus on relationship matters and also a lot more challenges, due to the fact that you have Jupiter in Libra. This is Jupiter's first visit in 12 years and until October will champion your need. The problem this year was the sheer number of planets moving through your relationship sector. All of the fasting moving planets have moved on except for Venus and it now makes sense why she has been reluctant to leave. Venus will finally leave your relationship sector on the 6th June, four months after first returning for what should have been a 24 day visit. Venus is advocating for your relationships, but as your ruling planet she is also looking out for your interests. Finally there is a chance to find that balance between your personal and relationship needs. A Full Moon in your communication sector on the 10th June even brings the potential for a communication and/or relationship breakthrough. In the meantime, the South Node's first full month in your romantic sector in 17 years brings the element of fate into play on the romantic front.
There is something special developing on both the romantic and relationship fronts this month. The month begins with Mercury in your relationship sector which is surprising, for he returned on the 1st April for what should have been 15 day push to give your relationships a voice. It was Mercury's retrograde turn that saw him retrograde back out three weeks after arriving, only to return during the Sun's final days in your relationship sector last month. Mercury will leave on the 7th June, but not until Venus returns on the 6th June. It's as though Mercury has been waiting for the planet of love and guardian of your relationships to arrive before he has permission to leave. This isn't so surprising, for a parade of planets have moved through your relationship sector since early February. Since then Ceres, Mars and the Sun have moved through, but Mercury is the only planet that has spent time with every force now that includes Venus. This also means that when Venus begins her month long visit, there is every reason to have the communication lines open from the get go. Even when Mercury leaves, with Pluto in retrograde motion in your communication sector all month you'll have plenty of support. This month will also see the doors open to the past and second chances on the romantic front. It begins with dreamy Neptune's retrograde turn in your romantic sector on the 16th June and will continue with Chiron's retrograde turn here on the 1st July.
It was in early February that Venus, planet of love returned for what should have been a 24 day visit to your romantic sector. These are often the most romantically charged weeks of any year, but from the get go it was clear she was here to stay. Venus was reluctant to leave, so much so that after two months she left by retrograding back out, only to return less than four weeks later. This second visit began in late April, with the planet of love finally leave on the 6th June. Four months after first returning Venus will finally move on. Regardless of what Venus has triggered on the romantic front over the last four months, the planet of love will leave you with a transformed sense of what you want from love. This has forever transformed your romantic expectations, with the pursuit of what you now know is possible now a new mandate. With Uranus and Eris staying on, whatever Venus has triggered over the last four months is in safe hands. That's just as well, for June is the month when the focus will always shift onto your relationships. The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of June in your relationship sector, shining the solar spotlight on your relationships. However, by the time the Sun returned last month Mars has already been here for a month, shaking and spicing things up. An opposition with Saturn late last month may have even seen relationship tensions rise. This is simply Saturn standing up for your needs, policing a need for a balance between your personal and relationship needs. This may come to a head again during a Full Moon on the 10th May. Fortunately Mercury, planet of communication will move through your relationship sector from the 7th June to the 21st June, turning this into an opportunity for a breakthrough.
When the Sun left your romantic sector last month this can often bring all romantic focus for the year to an end. The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of May keeping the spotlight on matters of the heart, but if the faster moving planets have already moved through, this will be the end of all romantic influence for the year. After that it is often just the Moon's monthly visits that keep the spirit of romance alive. That is not the case this year and in fact the best is still to come. That 'best' is Venus, planet of love who makes a belated return to your romantic sector on the 6th June. This is more than just a case of 'better late than never', with it impossible to get the timing any better. Venus will return to find Mercury already there, but in his last full day of a mission to give your heart a voice. Once Mercury leaves on the 7th June Venus will be on her own in your romantic sector and it will stay that way, apart from the Moon's monthly visit, until she leaves on the 5th July. For the planet of love to be able to spend a whole month in your romantic sector, instead of her normal 24 days and to spend all that time on her own and after so many planets have prepared the way, is a gift that has been well worth waiting for. This gives the planet of love the freedom to make her month here as romantically charged as possible. There are no reality checks, no challenges and nothing but green lights. The period from the 6th June to the 5th July will be the most romantically charged of the year. Venus will have to compete with relationship developments, with Mars spending the whole month in your relationship sector and the Sun and Mercury both returning on the 21st June. However, there is some nice energy between romantic and relationship matters.
That the focus is on matters of the heart this month is not surprising, with the Sun always spending the first three weeks of June in your romantic sector. Yet there is also something a lot deeper taking place. There had been no planetary activity in your romantic sector since mid 2016 before Mars returned on the 21st April. Returning a month ahead of the Sun and ahead of any need for reality checks, Mars was able to fuel your romantic passions and fighting spirit without any need to keep it real. Mars was here when the Sun returned a month later, but by then he was not alone. It was on the 29th April that Ceres returned to your romantic sector for the first time in four years, teaming up with Mars for the first time here in 23 years. While Mars gives you the courage to fight for what you want from love, Ceres is the one planet that can get to the heart of what it is you're fighting for. Mars will leave your romantic sector on the 5th June and the Sun and Mercury will both leave on the 21st June. This should bring all the planetary activity for the year to a close, except for the two goddesses of the solar system. Ceres, dwarf planet and goddess of the solar system won't leave until the 10th July, so she will still be here when Venus, planet of love and fellow goddess returns on the 5th July. This will continue this romantic journey out to the early days of August. Mars' departure will see the Sun's reality checks take precedence, but considering what is to come, you'll be ready for that. In the meantime, the North Node's first full month in your relationship sector in 17 years brings something fateful into play on the relationship front as well.
That there is something developing on the romantic front this month is not surprising, with the Sun always returning to your romantic sector each June. However you won't have to wait for the Sun and Mercury's return to your romantic sector on the 21st June, nor will this new romantic chapter begin with the Sun's mundane reality checks. Mundane because the Sun returns to your romantic sector at this time every year, turning the solar spotlight onto matters of the heart and all things romantic. As this is often the first planetary activity here each year, this is nothing to take for granted. However, things will get off to a far more exciting start when Mars returns to your romantic sector on the 5th June. This is Mars' first visit in two years and returning 16 days ahead of the Sun, the warrior planet of the cosmos is able to fuel your romantic passions and fighting spirit and fuel a lot of hot headed enthusiasm before any reality checks are required. With Mars not leaving until the 20th July he'll continue to fire up your romantic passions and light romantic bonfires all month. It also means that Mars will be here when Ceres returns on the 10th July, who in turn will still be here when Venus, planet of love eventually returns in early August. With Mars making his first visit to your romantic sector in two years and Ceres her first in four years, this is anything but a mundane romantic update. What Mars kicks off on the 6th June will continue to unfold and develop right through to late August. And the timing couldn't be better. For the first time in nearly two years there is no relationship focus, with matters of the heart finally getting their turn. The romantic drought will officially end on 5th June and as the saying goes, 'when it rains it pours'.
