A solar eclipse in your communication sector on the 15th January gives you a chance to launch new ideas or open new lines of communication, just 3 days before Jupiter leaves your home, family and property sector. It’s on the 18th January that Jupiter moves into your romantic and creative sector, where he’s destined to make 2010 an extremely lucky year for love and for all things playful, romantic and creative. The month is wrapped up with a Full Moon in your career sector on the 30th January that indicates that it’s ‘game on’ as far as all things professional are concerned.
Love
An event that has been 6 years in the making finally arrives this month, when on the 18th January Jupiter, planet of luck moves into your romantic sector, making 2010 one of your luckiest years ever for love. It was back in 2003 that Uranus, planet of surprise and the unexpected arrived and for 6 years he’s kept your heart and your mind open, often under some very tough pressure. But he has prevailed and for the first time since 1928 Jupiter and Uranus will unite in your romantic sector, not only making this a lucky year for love but an unexpectedly lucky year. So if you're sitting here in January 2010 feeling very sceptical, keep an open heart and an open mind, for love is set to surprise you in unexpected ways. It’s at this point that you have to be patient and like a cake that’s been put in the oven or seeds that have been planted in the ground, let them develop in their own time. It’s when you get impatient and start pushing or prodding things that you'll only get in the way. So long as you remain confident and maintain your expectations, then all you need is time. Conditions on the income front are linked into conditions on the professional front, with Mars having turned retrograde in your career sector just a day before the Sun left your income sector and just 5 days before Venus left. After a slow start to the month Mars will start gaining traction, with things coming to a head on the professional front between the 27th and 30th January. Any income opportunities tied into this will be hitching a ride.
Business
You may move into 2010 feeling a little battle wary, preferring to watch from the sidelines or to at least get your bearings before you throw yourself into anything and if so, that’s what you need to go with. For while Mars, planet of passion, drive and ambition moved into your career sector on the 17th October 2009 and should be long gone by now, he’s still here, though in a debilitated state, at the start of the month anyway. Mars turned retrograde just before Christmas and at the start of the month is still finding his feet. While he’ll remain in retrograde motion until the 11th March, over the course of the month he’ll once again build up speed, to a point where by the end of the month he’s ready to come out fighting. Go with the pace Mars sets, refusing to push if the going is slow but when things speed up, move with it. There may be some pressure between the 27th and the 30th January, culminating in the Full Moon in your career sector on the 30th January, but it brings the opportunity for a breakthrough.
