Monthly Love Horoscopes - February 2019
After a romantically charged lunar eclipse last month, February offers a less dramatic display from the love gods. In fact, with no planetary activity in either your romantic and relationship sectors, it is just the Moon providing access to the love and relationship gods this month. You do begin the month with Venus, the planet of love in an adventurous part of your chart, but she will leave on 4th February. However, Venus was here during last month's romantically charged lunar eclipse and with the Moon yet to come full circle from that eclipse, she will start the month still bringing the spirit of romance and adventure together. The spirit of adventure itself is in safe hands, but until Venus reappears in a social and serendipitous part of your chart early next month, she will take herself out of the picture. The Moon will come full circle from last month's lunar eclipse from 18th February to 20th February, creating some of the most romantically charged days of this short month. Often what is triggered on a Full Moon, eclipsing or otherwise, comes to fruition when the Moon comes full circle, often in unexpected ways. The Moon will return four days after Valentine's Day, so instead of focusing on what the media says is the most important day of the year for romance focus instead on what the love gods have to say. This could create some unexpected romantic developments. Meanwhile, the Moon will move through your relationship sector from 22nd February to 24th February. With Mars gone from Aries by then there won't be a repeat of last month's opposition. However, as well as fuelling strong emotional responses to relationship matters, these monthly visits are designed to put a balance between your personal and relationship needs to the test. You can't fix what you can't see.
There is a fairly dramatic shift in focus this month, away from relationship and onto romantic matters. It was late last month that Ceres left your relationship sector, not only wrapping up her own visit, but also 15 months of planetary activity. For the first time since September 2017 you move into a new month with no planets in your relationship sector and it will stay that way until Venus and Mercury return in October. However, the journey this has taken you on, has left you with a clear sense of what you want from your relationships and what they need from you. Meanwhile, romantic matters finally get their turn and for the first time in a long time, you don't have to compete with relationship matters. To start with there is no sign of a romantic comeback, but that will change with Venus, the planet of love's return to an adventurous part of your chart on 4th February. It is 10 days later that Mars' return to Taurus will put the planets of love and passion at a friendly aspect, bringing and creating a potent cocktail of romantic, adventurous and passionate forces, that will remain in play all month. It is into this atmosphere that the Moon will electrify things further. The Moon will move through your romantic sector from 20th February to 22nd February, creating a Full Moon on 20th February. This is a Lovers Moon and with a lot of romance, passion and adventure already in the air, this will create the most romantically charged Full Moon in two years. Forget Valentine's Day, these are the most romantically charged days for you. There will be a chance to check in on your relationships, when the Moon moves through your relationship sector from 24th February to 26th February.
While Venus, the planet of love will leave your relationship sector on 4th February, she leaves your relationships in extremely safe hands, the hands that will guide your relationships through to the final weeks of the year. When Venus leaves, she will leave behind Jupiter and Ceres, one of the largest and most powerful planets in the solar system and the other a dwarf planet. When Venus comes full circle, returning to your relationship sector in November, remarkably both will still be here and will have spent every day between Venus' departure and return working as a team. This is remarkable, for Ceres returned for what should be a three month visit late last month. Instead, when Jupiter turns retrograde in April so will Ceres, with the two working as a team all year. Ceres is Venus' sister planet, but as the queen of nurturing, her focus is on first understanding your needs and then updating your priorities to ensure those needs are met. Having lucky Jupiter in your relationship sector until December, makes this the most auspicious and important relationship year in over a decade. To have Ceres here until Venus returns in November, gives your relationships a guide. Venus' job was to leave you with a clear sense of what you want from your relationships, so you can set the course that Jupiter will maintain all year. That is no longer required, with Ceres able to help you redefine your priorities as the journey continues. Whether single, in a relationship or between relationships you don't need to know what you want or need for relationships. You not only have luck, time and the relationship gods on your side, but support to help your needs and priorities evolve as the journey progresses. The Moon begins and ends with the Moon in your relationship sector, keeping you emotionally connected.
For the first time since September 2017 you begin the month with no planetary activity in your romantic sector and there will be none until Venus and Mercury return in October. However, as over 15 months of planetary activity only ended late last month, there is no excuse for letting matters of the heart go off the boil. There is no excuse, but that doesn't mean this isn't something you have to fight for, especially as this year is on a fairly unstoppable professional roll. However, one of the keys to keeping the spirit of romance alive is keeping the spirit of adventure alive, with the two having gone hand in hand over the last two years. Apart from the Moon's visit to your romantic sector from 24th February to 26th February, there is no direct input from the love gods. It is a different story on the relationship front, where things take a real turn for the better this month. This was always going to be a major year for friendship and relationship building, but after the Sun and Mercury left your relationship sector last month, things have dialled back. That changes with Venus, the planet of love's return on 4th February and her position here for the rest of the month. It is 10 days later that Mars will return to your friendship sector, on Valentine's Day, bringing with him the anticipated friendship and relationship building support. Once this locks into place it is here to stay, as in right through to Pluto's departure from your relationship sector in 2024. The Moon will return to your relationship sector, stirring your emotional responses from 1st February to 4th February, leaving just hours before Venus' return. Meanwhile, a Full Moon in your communication sector on 20th February will bring a chance to jump start the communication lines.
February is an important month on both the romantic and relationship fronts, though you do have some defections that create not so much a challenge, but definitely a need to pay attention. The month begins with Venus in her final days in your romantic sector, with support from Mars in an adventurous part of your chart. Since Venus' return to your romantic sector in early January, this has fuelled a potent cocktail of romantic, adventurous and passionate forces. With lucky Jupiter in your romantic sector until December and Ceres here until November, this lucky year for love has some unshakeable momentum. There is no danger that the spirit of romance will go off the boil, but when Venus leaves your romantic sector on 4th February and Mars an adventurous part of your chart on Valentine's Day, they will both change to a more professional focus. This is good news professionally, but it means finding a balance between work and play will become a responsibility that you will need to take on board. This shouldn't be hard, not with romantically charged lunar vibes in play in the early hours and then again in the final days of the month. At the same time, the Sun will always spend the majority of the first three weeks of February in your relationship sector, shining the solar spotlight on your relationships until 19th February. You also start the month with Mercury in your relationship sector as well, but with the planet of communication leaving on 2nd March, communication needs to be a priority from the get go. Meanwhile, a New Moon here on 5th February creates an opportunity for new beginnings or just to draw a new line in the sand. The focus will go off your relationships when the Sun leaves, but Venus will return early next month to take up from where this leaves off.
Things take a serious turn for the better on the romantic front this month with Venus, the planet of love, being the perfect example of 'better late than never'. In fact, it is Venus' late return to your romantic sector on 4th February, weeks after the Sun wrapped up his month long visit, that makes her timing so perfect. It is less that Venus will extend the romantic influence out to early March and more that she will be here when Mars returns to an adventurous part of your chart on Valentine's Day. As the planets of love and passion, whenever Venus and Mars get to work together this is exciting and especially here. Venus has returned to kick off some of the most romantically charged weeks of the year, while Mars will add to this, creating a potent mix of romantic, adventurous and passionate forces. This will remain in play for the rest of the month. Venus will connect with some powerful forces in play on the romantic front, including her first alignment with the South Node, the force behind last month's solar eclipse, for the first time in 17 years. With Venus not leaving until early March, February is destined to be a romantically charged month. This is also a good month for your relationships. The Sun, as he does at this time every year, will turn the solar spotlight onto your relationships from 19th February. However, Mercury will return on 10th February for what should be a two week visit. Instead, the planet of communication will be here for over two months, thanks to a retrograde phase next month. What begins as an ordinary month on both the romantic and relationship fronts, will soon reveal itself to be a gem of a month on both fronts.
While two of the key players in a stunning coming together of communication and relationship forces will leave the field this month, it won't be before first creating a huge amount of momentum or before leaving things in safe hands. Those two key players are Venus and Mars, the planets of love and passion. Venus begins the month in your communication sector, leaving on 4th February, having done what she could to give your heart and your relationships a voice. Venus leaves behind Ceres and Jupiter, both here until the final weeks of the year. Venus spent much of last month in a close alliance to Mars in your relationship sector and it is his departure on 14th February, that will leave you with a clear sense of what you are fighting for. Uranus, who has been in your relationship sector since 2010 will leave early next month but Chiron's return on 18th February will not only provide continuity, but usher in a new phase. Mars is the planet of war and Chiron the planet of healing. While Uranus will continue to fight to put your relationships on an authentic path, it is with the knowledge that a new healing phase will begin, with Chiron here until 2027. In the meantime, the Sun will always spend the majority of the first three weeks of February in your romantic sector and this year is no exception. The Sun will keep the solar spotlight on matters of the heart until he leaves on 19th February. However, the real magic will happen when Venus, the planet of love returns early next month. Mercury, the planet of communication is here until 10th February, working to give your heart a voice and to put heart and mind on the same page.
There are some exciting developments on the romantic and relationship fronts this month, developments that will have implications for months if not years to come. To start with it is business as usual on both fronts. What business as usual looks like is tiny Juno, queen of commitment and especially commitment to your relationships still in your relationship sector, where she has been since last July. It also means that you start the month with Neptune and Chiron in your romantic sector, on their own since Mars left on New Year's Day. Juno will leave your relationship sector on 11th February, seemingly bringing all focus on your relationships to a close. After all, the Sun doesn't return until late April each year. However, just three days later, Mars has chosen Valentine's Day to return to your relationship sector, for the first time since 2017. Mars will be here when Uranus returns next month to begin a journey that will take until 2026 to complete, with Venus' return to your communication sector on 4th February ensuring there is support from the communication gods from the get go. Meanwhile, on 18th February, a day before the Sun is due to return to your romantic sector, turning the solar spotlight on matters of the heart Chiron, the planet of healing leaves. Since 2010 Chiron has been focused on healing, making it hard to fully embrace Neptune's dreams and fantasies. Chiron leaves and won't return for another 44 years, leaving the way clear for some real growth on the romantic front. No wonder that Mercury, who returns to your romantic sector on 10th February for what should be a two week visit, is instead here for the next two months. With Venus, the planet of love in your communication sector and Mercury, the planet of communication in your romantic sector, communication is a strong theme on the romantic and relationship fronts.
Venus, the planet of love was late returning to Sagittarius last year, so late that she didn't return until 8th January. Yet this means that Venus is still here as you move into February and the timing couldn't be better. For with Mars still in your romantic sector, the romantic chemistry they created last month will continue into this month. Venus will leave on 4th February, but with Mars staying on for another 10 days her romantic influence, confidence, desires and expectations are in safe hands. Mars returned to fire things up on the romantic front on New Year's Day and he chooses another iconic day to leave. By leaving your romantic sector on Valentine's Day, Mars guarantees your attention in his final days. Romantic matters won't go off the boil after that, but the dynamics will change. Mars is the planet of war and passion, which is why he fires up your romantic passions and fighting spirit. However, just four days after he leaves, Chiron, the planet of healing, returns to make your romantic sector his home until 2027. With Uranus spending his last full week in your romantic sector, this is a chance for some real healing to begin, while the romantic momentum of the last few months will continue. In the meantime, while there is no planetary activity in your relationship sector you have Mercury, the planet of communication in your communication sector until 10th February and the Sun until 19th February. Mercury will be gone but the Sun will still be here, when the Moon moves through your relationship sector from 13th February to 16th February. While Mars is wrapping up his last visit to your romantic sector until 2021 on Valentine's Day, you will also have the Sun in your communication sector and the Moon in your relationship sector.
Venus is taking the old adage of 'better late than never' to a whole new level this month. For while the planet of love is late returning to Capricorn this year, had she returned with the Sun, as she often does, she would have missed the boat. Held back by a retrograde phase in the second half of 2018, Venus won't return to Capricorn until 4th February and the timing couldn't be better. Venus has managed to miss your birthday month so was not impacted by the housekeeping required at the start of each new solar year. Venus is able to focus on her romantic influence, until leaving early next month. Also held back by a retrograde phase last year is Mars, the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos, finally returning to your romantic sector on 14th February. It is exciting enough having the planet of love in Capricorn on Valentine's Day, but to have Mars return that day is a chance for the love gods to get your attention. Venus and Mars were both held back by retrograde phases, with Venus late returning to Capricorn, and Mars late returning to your romantic sector, yet they have both returned at the perfect time. And with Uranus beginning his seven year visit early next month, this is just a taste of things to come. The Moon will move through your romantic sector from 11th February to 13th February, with these romantically charged lunar vibes helping to set the scene for Mars' return on Valentine's Day. In the meantime, with the North Node spending the whole of 2019 in your relationship sector, your relationships are not only in good hands, but this sets the scene for an opposition with Venus. This won't happen until 25th/26th February, but both have a vested interest in anything this might expose, along with the means to turn any relationship tension into an opportunity for more authenticity.
While there is no planetary activity in either of your romantic or relationship sector, it would be rare if there was at this time of year. And this works to your advantage. It was only in November that the North Node left your relationship sector and the South Node left Aquarius, where they have been policing a balance between your personal and relationship needs for the previous 18 months. A total lunar eclipse in your relationship sector last month brought a reminder any tension this might have created. By the time the Moon returns to your relationship sector on 18th February the Sun will be in his last full day in Aquarius and will leave before they can clash. Yet as the Moon moves through from 18th February to 20th February, anything triggered by last month's lunar eclipse will settle into place, leaving you with a better sense of what you want from your relationships and what they need from you. With Chiron, the planet of healing returning to your communication sector on 18th February, the same day the Moon returns to your relationship sector, he is not only there to give your emotional responses and relationships a voice, but to begin the healing process. While there will be no planetary activity in your romantic sector until Mars returns at the end of next month, Venus, the planet of love, will return to Aquarius early next month. Before then, Venus' return to a nostalgic part of your chart on 4th February is a chance to take a nostalgic trip down love's memory lane. Venus will be here on Valentine's Day, creating a sense of romantic nostalgia. She won't be the only one here then, with the Moon in your romantic sector from 13th February to 16th February. While there were romantically charged lunar vibes in play last Valentine's Day, the time before that was in 1999.
This is not a point in any year when there is usually planetary activity in your romantic or relationship sectors and while that is technically still the case, in reality the love gods will not take a break at all this year. With the North Node in your romantic sector from November 2018 to May 2019, there is a romantic pulse throughout the year, always there to tap into. This will be especially so when the Moon moves through from 16th February to 18th February. These romantically charged lunar vibes will give you access to the element of fate the North Node brings into play, making it important to trust your heart. Meanwhile, the only focus on your relationships is when the Moon moves through your relationship sector, from 20th February to 22nd February. However, the Moon will make it count, creating a Full Moon here on 20th February. This is a Full Moon that will always fall at some point during your birthday month and with the Sun returning to Pisces on 19th February, this will get your attention from the get go. Fortunately Mercury, the planet of communication not only returns to Pisces on 10th February, but is here for the next two months. In addition, you have Mars, warrior planet of the cosmos returning to your communication sector on 14th February, doubling up on the potential to turn a Full Moon on 20th February into an opportunity for a breakthrough. As far as Full Moons go this shouldn't be challenging, with the Sun and Moon clashing here at this time every year and nothing for any relationship tension this might create to stick to. Yet what sets this Full Moon apart is a huge amount of communication support, creating the potential for communication and/or relationship breakthrough.
