Monthly Money Horoscopes - April 2020
This is one time when the whole really is bigger than the sum of its individual parts. It is not just what is happening on the income front this month that is significant but the moment in time professionally. The individual parts themselves are exciting but together this creates the potential for a breakthrough across the income and professional fronts. If not in actuality all at once then at least in your belief in what's possible and more importantly in yourself. The month begins with Venus, the planet of money in her final days in your income sector. This in itself is exciting enough, as this is months before her return last year and while she will be gone by 4th April, the Sun will still be 16 days away by the time she leaves. If all Venus does before she leaves is fuel your confidence your belief in what you deserve and steer things in a lucrative direction then this is game changing. For this comes just as Mars and Saturn's departure from your career sector last month has not only left Jupiter and Pluto, the planets of luck and changed on their own they will spend the first six days of April aligned. This is an alignment that began late last month and is in effect during Venus' final days in your income sector. While Venus is working to shore up your confidence on the income front, a massive professional wave is building. The Sun will spend the final 10 days of the month in your income sector and first three weeks of May, continuing what Venus began, with Mercury returning on 28th April with a chance to get your head in the game and finish what Venus began. If the real income potential isn't realised until Mercury returns, then it is still thanks to what Venus is planting in the early days of this month.
Apart from the fact that you begin the month with Mars and Saturn in your career sector and this is the first time those words have been said in the same sentence in three decades, financially it is business as usual. There is no doubt that the whole dynamics of this professional year changed in the final days of March, with what was possible just a few weeks ago now completely different. However, with the Sun not returning to your income sector until later next month, this is more about getting things moving professionally in order to eventually benefit financially. Or at least that should be the case with Venus, the planet of money literally racing to reach your income sector in order to catch this major new professional wave. Last year Venus didn't return to your income sector until June and didn't leave until July and as these are usually the most lucrative weeks of any year, this was a mid year event. It is a very different but also timely story this year, with Venus returning on 4th April for what should be the most potentially lucrative 24 days of 2020. I am using the word 'should' a lot, because what is happening with Venus this year is not what we would normally expect but then the professional climate has just completely changed. Venus returns so early that she will be forced to wait for the Sun and the way she will do that is by turning retrograde next month, a move that will keep her here until August. Instead of returning to begin the most potentially lucrative 24 days of 2020, which would have run its course by the end of the month, Venus is here for the next four months. This in isolation is auspicious, for as the planet of money Venus can not only attract income opportunities and potential but boost your confidence and a belief in what you deserve. However, the game changer is that it happens at a powerful moment professionally.
Things took a dramatic turn on the financial front late last month, with Saturn's departure from your financial sector on 22nd March putting a financial boot camp that began in 2017 on hold. Saturn will return in July, retrograding back in with an opportunity to tie up loose ends but for now he is gone and so too are his restrictions and demands. Yet having had Saturn here for over two years has taught you a lot, especially about fiscal responsibility. Meanwhile, it was Mars' departure in the final hours of March that has also left you with your financial passions and fighting spirit fuelled. This leaves behind Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion and Pluto, the planet of change and revolution and they are spending the first six days of the month aligned, forming a united front. With Saturn's hard lessons banked and Mars' enthusiasm to draw on, the planets of luck and change can draw on both to focus on financial growth and a chance to change things up. While this is freeing things up financially while eliminating the hype, with Pluto turning retrograde on 26th April and Jupiter next month, they are both slowing down. This is creating a month where money matters are likely to flow more smoothly, where the highs and lows are gone and there is a chance for a steady middle ground approach but also where there should be more confidence. Saturn doesn't create challenges but he uses them to help you learn so doesn't try and avoid them. With Saturn gone you can take a break from learning new lessons and instead put lessons learned in the past into practice. For the first time since Jupiter's return in December, this is all about him and his focus on growth.
Starting the month with Saturn and Mars in your financial sector are words last used in the same sentence in January 1994, which was the last time you had the ability you have right now to take your financial power back. Having Saturn, the hard taskmaster of the cosmos return to your financial sector is not something that you usually get excited about, for this would mark the start of a three year financial boot camp. That will be the reality when Saturn returns in December but for now, he is already slowing down ahead of a retrograde turn next month and will only just stick his nose in the door. Saturn will sit around the entrance of your financial sector for the next three months, getting a feel for things and to give you a feel for having the hard taskmaster of the cosmos on board. Saturn is here to observe, to make you aware of where you are and aren't taking responsibility and at the same time urging you to take ownership. It is the fact that Mars is here at the same time and that he isn't sitting still, that is not just an advantage now but could completely change your reality when Saturn returns in December, bringing lucky Jupiter with him. Mars can observe what Saturn is honing in on and where there are things to work on but as he fuels your financial passions and fighting spirit, he gives you a chance to start taking your financial power back now. You don't have to wait for Saturn and Jupiter's return in December. Saturn is a planet that can give you the power to move mountains if you have but if you don't take responsibility he can create challenges. Having Mars here all month and to mid May is giving you a chance to protect yourself from the latter and start taking your financial power back now. Both Saturn and Mars are focused on what you do with and how you manage the money you have, but the Moon will create some positive and lucrative days this month, especially from 3rd April to 5th April and again on 30th April.
While the money gods' focus this month is on the side of the financial fence that is more focused on what you do with and how you manage the money you have, there is reason for confidence on the income front as well. On the income front, the focus is more on gaining the professional momentum that will allow you to maximise the most lucrative months 2020, which are in the second half of the year. However, with work and job matters gaining real momentum and Venus, the planet of money in your career sector at the start of the month, they are already preparing for what lies ahead. However, the timing of the Moon's visit to your income sector does create a pocket of income potential this month. Until leaving on 4th April, Venus is on a mission to fuel your professional confidence, attract opportunities and steer things in a lucrative direction. To have the Moon move through your income sector from 5th April to 7th April will give what can be the most lucrative days of any month an extra edge. Another reason why these could be lucrative days is that the Moon will be coming full circle from last month's Full Moon in your income sector and this could see things triggered then come to fruition. In the meantime, until leaving your financial sector on 11th April, Mercury is giving you the smart head for money to finalise your financial game plan and resolutions for the coming year. Staying on after the Sun left last month, Mercury gives you the ability to keep your head in the game and to focus on the details needed to make the right financial choices, decisions and plans. Even after Mercury leaves, with dreamy Neptune here until 2026, there is enough support to keep the momentum going. It is later in the month that you will have a chance to reassess your financial priorities.
This month's Full Moon in your income sector is an ordinary event that is set to have extraordinary implications and all because of the conditions and the timing. Because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of April in your financial sector, this is a time of year when the focus is always on your financial situation and money matters. This is the side of the fence that is more about what you do with and how you manage the money you have and the Sun's transparency makes this the ideal time to take care of any financial housekeeping. Mercury's return to your financial sector on 11th April will give you the smart head for money needed to get your head in the game and to make smart choices, decisions and plans. While the Sun will be gone by 20th April Mercury is here until 28th April, giving you another eight days to finalise your financial game plan and resolutions for the coming year and to make choices and decisions. This is something that happens at this time every year, as is a Full Moon that will always fall in your income sector at some point during the Sun's month long visit to your financial sector. This makes the Full Moon on 8th April and ordinary event, with its clash with the Sun often creating some financial tension but as a result the potential for a breakthrough on both sides of the financial fence. However, the timing makes this not just extraordinary but potentially game changing. With Saturn and Mars both in their first full month in your work sector and Venus, the planet of money returning to begin a four month visit to your income sector on 4th April, this is an incredibly time professionally. There is rarely any planetary activity in either of your two professional houses at this time of year, let alone some of the most exceptional activity in decades.
The focus will always be on your financial situation and money matters at this time of year and at a bare minimum, this will begin when the Sun returns to your financial sector on 20th April. This is when the solar spotlight will always fall on your financial situation and money matters, the side of the financial fence where the focus is on what you do with and how you manage the money you have. When Uranus returned to your financial sector last year things changed because here until 2026, there is now continuous focus on money matters. However, Uranus works behind the scenes, quietly keeping things real and on track. It is when the faster moving planets move through that there is a spike in the amount of focus you put on money matters and also a chance in focus. Uranus is here until 2026 so has another six years to steer money matters in the right direction. Uranus will make sudden course corrections when he needs to and they can come as a pleasant or an unwelcome surprise, but for the most part, his focus is a steady arc. While the Sun won't turn the focus on your financial situation and money matters until 20th April, you begin the month with Venus here. It is the 16 days from Venus' departure on 4th April to the Sun's return that acts as a firebreak and makes these two separate chapters, where neither can influence the other. Venus has returned to fuel your financial confidence, update your wish list and attract opportune financial outcomes. The Sun, when he returns will focus on keeping it real, demanding that you keep your eyes open and head out of the sand and that you deal with money matters in a realistic way. These chapters couldn't be more different and they need to be. Venus' job is not to keep it real. That's the Sun's job, freeing Venus to focus on the 'what' at the start of the month and the Sun and Mercury, who returns on 28th April with the smart head for money needed to get your head in the game, to focus on the 'when, where and how' by the end of the month.
While you start the month with no planetary activity in either of your two money houses that is about to change. When Mars left your income sector in February he not only wrapped up his own nearly seven week visit but 16 months of near continuous planetary activity. As lucky Jupiter only wrapped up a 13 month visit in December, together with Mars' time here this has created a lot of momentum and untapped income potential that you will continue to mine for the rest of the year. April was a firebreak month, with a chance to let things settle on the income front and for the momentum banked to take hold. Venus, the planet of money was in your work sector when Mars left your income sector in February so was able to use knowledge of where that untapped income potential is, in order to steer work and job matters in a lucrative direction. Whether it is the Sun, in your work sector for the first three weeks of April or Mercury from 11th April, they will continue to draw on what has already been banked. So while there is no planetary activity in your income sector, there is every reason for confidence, even though this is more tied into what you are doing on the job front. It is on the financial front, where the focus is more on what you do with and how you manage the money you have that things are about to get exciting. With the Sun not returning to your financial sector until later next month, Venus' return on 4th April is extraordinarily early. So early that instead of spending just 24 days fuelling your financial confidence, updating your financial wish list and working to attract positive outcomes, a retrograde turn next month will keep Venus here for four months. Venus is not focused on the reality checks that the Sun and Mercury will eventually bring, though she is creating the blueprint that they will eventually follow.
There is a change of pace on the income front this month that is both easier and more productive. Both Saturn and Mars left your income sector in the last 10 days of March, taking the fastest and the slowest horses in the field out of the race. Mars was running a sprint and Saturn a marathon, leaving behind Jupiter and Pluto to maintain a steady pace. Pluto will turn retrograde on 26th April and Jupiter next month so both are slowing down. You also have the planets of luck and change aligned during the first six days of the month, bringing home the fact that they are both working in unison. Pluto is the planet of change and revolution and Jupiter is the planet of luck and expansion but with Pluto here until 2024, Jupiter until December and both slowing down ahead of retrograde turns, they are both in this for the long haul. You no longer have Saturn demanding that you measure twice and cut once but then you no longer have Mars wanting everything to happen now. Until Venus leaves your work sector on 4th April she will continue to steer work and job matters in a lucrative direction, something the Sun will benefit from when he returns on 20th April and Mercury on 28th April. On both the income and job fronts this creates a month where there is every reason for confidence on the income and job fronts but with Uranus in your work sector until 2026, on both fronts the planets are playing a long game. What you don't have are the highs and lows or spikes but whatever your income situation or potential now, you can expect a slow and steady rise, before taking a sharp upward curve towards the end of the year. In today's economic climate, this is putting a protective bubble around you and especially around your income potential.
From out of nowhere and despite the global economic climate, the stars are looking stunning for you across the income, work and career fronts. That doesn't mean that there won't be some tension or adjustment period, especially as you adjust to the very unusual developments in the final 10 days of March. Saying that you begin the month with Saturn and Mars in your income sector is the first time these words have come together in the same sentence since 1994. Yet even if Saturn wasn't slowing down ahead of a retrograde turn next month he would have his foot on the brake from the get go, while Mars has his foot on the gas. This is Mars' first visit to your income sector since 2017 and he is here to help you fight for what you deserve. Mars only returned in the closing hours of March so is literally still in his early hours as you move into April. Saturn returned nine days earlier, so you will also be adjusting to not only the power you now have to make things happen but the responsibility that comes with this. For Saturn this is more a recognisance visit, checking out the opportunities, challenges, barriers or anything else you need to be aware of before he returns with Jupiter in December. Mars, on the other hand, is here to make things happen now. The first job is adjusting to Saturn's call for a cautious approach and Mars' impatience. This is like leading a wagon with a high spirited stallion and an old horse happy to put one foot in front of the other and somehow getting them to work in tandem. The game changer is Venus, the planet of money's return to your work sector on 4th April, for what should be a 24 day mission to fuel your job confidence, attract opportunities and steer things in a lucrative direction. Instead, Venus is here for four months and she knows exactly how to get Mars and Saturn working together in order to get what she wants.
The Sun may have left your income sector last month but there is still some tidying up to do, especially in terms of tying up loose ends and having a game plan moving forward. Mercury first returned to your income sector in early February, for what should have been a 14 to 15 day chance to use his smart head for money to get your head in the game ahead of the Sun's return. Instead, a retrograde turn has not only kept Mercury here but last month saw him retrograde back out, only to return 12 days later. It was that break that brought a chance to take your head out of the game and simply explore your options. When Mercury returned the Sun was still here and having left by backtracking over ground already covered, he returned to start over from the beginning of your income sector again. This was an opportunity for a complete do over, getting your head back in the game but this time with 20/20 hindsight. Mercury is here until 11th April and until he leaves is giving you the smart head for money needed to make smart choices and decisions and also finalise your game plan and resolutions for the coming year. However, as you not only have dreamy Neptune in your income sector until 2024 but the dwarf planet Ceres returning on 24th April and Mars next month, any game plan or resolutions need to be flexible or in the 'just for now' or the 'next steps' way. Together, Ceres and Neptune will continue to redefine your expectations. In the meantime, the Moon's return to your income sector from 18th April to 20th April will be a valuable chance to check in, as well as creating some potentially lucrative days. There will be a chance to get your bearings on the financial front, when the Moon returns to your financial sector from 5th April to 7th April.
The focus is always going to be on your income situation, matters and options at this time of year, with the Sun always spending the first three weeks of April in your income sector. This is when the solar spotlight is always on income matters, making things more transparent but also making this a priority. Because you have had the dwarf planet Eris in your income sector since 1926 and she will be here for another three decades, there isn't a moment of any year when there is no focus on income matters. Eris is the warrior princess of the cosmos and while she mainly operates in the background, you will feel her presence when you sense you are not being treated fairly or you are not getting what you deserve. Because Eris has been here for nine decades, this has become part of your DNA. It is when the faster moving planets move through that things become more active and for you, this began much earlier this year, thanks to Venus' return in February. Venus has already been and gone but as the planet of money, she has already spent time fuelling your confidence, triggering the laws of attraction and leaving you with a lucrative sense of direction. The Sun will keep the solar spotlight on income matters until he leaves on 20th April, but Mercury's return on 11th April will keep him here until 28th April. Held back by a retrograde phase, Mercury is late returning this year but here now until 28th April, he brings a chance to get your head in the game and to make smart choices, decisions and plans. Where Venus began this year's active phase by focusing on the 'what', Mercury ends it with his focus on the 'when, where and how'. Meanwhile, the Moon's return to your financial sector from 7th April to 9th April and the Full Moon this will create on 8th April might fuel some financial tension. However, this is a clash between income and matters that happens at this time each year, with both sides benefiting.
