Monthly Money Horoscopes - September 2018
The two major forces in play on the money front are taking things in two very different directions this month. Fortunately for you, both those directions are the right one for them and are well supported. As he spends his first full month in retrograde motion in your income sector, Uranus is taking income matters back over ground already covered, with the focus on untapped income potential. Aligned with Saturn in your career sector until the 15th September, where the doors are also open to the past, second chances and untapped potential, this strengthens a chance to profit from the past. At the same time, Jupiter moves into his final two months in your financial sector on the 9th September, the same day that Venus returns to help bring things home. As the planet of money, Venus is the perfect planet to see you into the final two months of what is an important year for financial growth and when it comes to money matters as a whole, for looking to and building for the future. Venus will normally spend 24 days in your financial sector each year, fuelling your financial confidence, updating your expectations and triggering the laws of attraction. A retrograde phase will keep Venus here until early November and with the support from dreamy Neptune in an intuitive and imaginative part of your chart. This will help to fuel your financial confidence, instincts and imagination, just when there is a very real chance to take your power back. This makes the Moon's visits to both your money houses a lot more important, giving you an intuitive read on the players and conditions behind the scenes. The Moon will start the month in your income sector, leaving on the 2nd September then returning from the 27th September to the 30th September. You'll get an intuitive read on money matters when the Moon moves through your financial sector from the 13th September to the 15th September.
For all but the final hours of the month there is no planetary activity in either of your two money houses, which should create an equal playing field for income and money matters. This is not the point in any year when there is usually any planetary activity on either front, but external conditions favour income matters, for now anyway. Those external forces are what is happening professionally. The Sun only left your income sector in June, but with Venus, planet of money in your work sector until the 9th September, she continues to steer things in a lucrative direction. With Mars returning for his double dip visit to your career sector on the 11th September, Mercury to your work sector on the 22nd September and the Sun on the 23rd September, your professional condition will continue to improve. This is something that Juno will be able to capitalise on when she returns to your income sector on the 30th September. This is just a short three week visit, allowing the queen of commitment to get in and out before Jupiter returns to your financial sector on the 9th November. The Moon will make two visits to your income sector this month, the first from the 2nd September to the 5th September and the second from the 30th September to the 2nd October. The first visit will coincide with Venus' final days in your work sector, sharpening your nose for money just as Venus is working to steer things in a lucrative direction. The Moon's second visit will ensure your nose for money is sharp as Juno returns. In the meantime, the Moon's visit to your financial sector from the 15th September to the 18th September is a chance to fuel your financial instincts and imagination.
In terms of planetary activity and therefore where the money gods are focused this month, it is all on your financial situation and money matters as a whole. Yet there is one money god who will give income matters an inside edge, one that is not going to threaten money matters or create any financial tension. When you have planetary activity in your income and financial sectors at the same time, this puts them in opposition and this can create financial tension. This is what happened in the middle months of the year when the Sun, Mercury and Venus moved through your income sector. You don't have that this month, with one money god in particular having a way to sneak around that problem. To start with though, the focus is all on money matters, with Mars in his early days in direct motion in your financial sector, Saturn preparing for his direct turn on the 6th September and Pluto slowing down ahead of his direct turn on the 1st October. The tide is turning on the financial front and money matters are waking up. Mars is only back for a short double dip visit and leaving on the 11th September, he's on a mission to refuel your financial passions and fighting spirit. The Moon's return to your income sector from the 5th September to the 7th September is your first chance to focus on income matters since its visit four weeks earlier. However this time, as a nose for money kicks in, so too will a new sense of anticipation. For just two days after the Moon leaves Venus, planet of money will return for an extended and auspicious two month visit to your work sector. Joining forces with lucky Jupiter, Venus returns to fuel your job confidence, attract opportunities and steer things in a lucrative direction.
Mars' departure from your financial sector last month saw any financial tension or pressure drop back, even if nothing in your financial situation changed. For the first time in decades, the warrior planet of the cosmos made a rare three month visit to your financial sector just as the Sun, Mercury and Venus were moving through your income sector. This put them in opposition and is the reason why a total lunar eclipse in your financial sector in late July and a solar eclipse in your income sector last month were so intense. Mars retrograded back out just as the Sun moved into his final 10 days in your income sector, finally giving income matters some breathing space. While the Sun has since moved on, until he leaves on the 6th September Mercury is giving you the smart head for money needed to keep your head in the game. While the North Node will stay on to keep the momentum going, having a game plan or clear intentions by the time Mercury leaves, will allow you to then put things on auto pilot. By the time Mars returns for a rare double dip visit to your financial sector on the 11th September, Mercury will be gone from your income sector. This means there won't be a repeat of the financial tension of recent months, but at a time when income matters have already built up a healthy momentum that won't be impacted. Where income and money matters were competing for your attention, income matters have had their turn and you can now turn your attention to money matters as a whole. The 11th September marks the point where you're able to start taking your power back.
A Full Moon in your financial sector in late August has not only given money matters a push, but has flushed out any balance issues between money coming in and money going out. This is a Full Moon that will always fall at some point during the Sun's month long visit to your income sector, with the Sun and Moon moving into opposition. As income and money matters clash, any financial tension created will expose any balance issues, while giving both sides a push and a wakeup call. That Full Moon fell during the Sun's early days, getting this out of the way. Apart from the Sun's opposition with Neptune in your financial sector on the 8th/9th September and Mercury's on the 14th September, there should be nothing to create any undue financial tension. And even that is fairly routine, for ever since Neptune's return to your financial sector in 2012 no planet has been able to move through your income sector, without moving into opposition. With dreamy Neptune in retrograde motion and well supported by both Venus and Jupiter, the planets of money and luck, any financial tension this may trigger will very quickly turn to motivation. Even more so as the Sun, Mercury and Ceres find some of the best support they've ever seen as they move through your income sector. The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of September in your income sector, shining the solar spotlight on your income situation, matters and options until leaving on the 23rd September. Until leaving on the 6th September Ceres is updating your needs and priorities, while during his stay from the 6th September to the 22nd September, Mercury will give you the smart head for money needed to keep your head in the game. What is not the norm is to have powerful forces in play on the job and career fronts at the same time.
Even before the Sun returns to your income sector on the 23rd September, something he does at this time every year, there is some serious momentum on the income front. To start with this may appear to be more a case of wishful thinking, with Venus on her own in your income sector and without any backup from the professional gods. That suits Venus, planet of money just fine, for she is able to focus on fuelling your confidence, raising the bar on your expectations and triggering the laws of attraction. Venus will leave on the 9th September, but she leaves knowing that not only will she return in early November for a rare double dip visit, but the storm of opportunities coming your way across the income, work and career fronts. If Venus leaves you with an inflated sense of confidence, a lot of blind faith and what looks more like wishful thinking, then she will have done her job. Ceres, Venus' sister planet slips into your income sector on the 6th September, giving the planet of money someone to pass the baton onto. It is just two days after Venus leaves that your professional year will fire up again, with Mars returning to your work sector just 29 days after leaving. Here until the 16th November, Mars' rare double dip visit is set to fire things up on the job front over the next two months, with Juno's return to your career sector on the 30th September, this will flow into a general professional upgrade. By the time Mercury returns on the 22nd September and the Sun on the 23rd September, with a smart head for money and the objectivity to focus on the details, you'll have a very real chance to turn Venus' desires into reality.
While Jupiter has been in your income sector since last October and in direct motion since July, this is the month when things finally start to come together. Spending 13 months in your income sector and then not returning until 2029, Jupiter is focused on the big picture and more on long term and sustained growth, rather than a snatch and grab now. This is why, especially during the long haul phase of Jupiter's supposedly lucky visit, it can appear to be anything but a lucky year for income growth. Yet Jupiter is focused on the big picture and on sustainability after he leaves, which is why he is spending so much time supporting Neptune in your work sector, knowing that ongoing job growth is essential to his goals. In direct motion since the 11th July, Jupiter is starting to build up speed and momentum and leaving on the 9th November, this was always going to be the month when you started to see things moving. However, things change dramatically with Venus' return to your income sector on the 9th September. Jupiter might be focused on the long gain and not on snatch and grab opportunities, but as the planet of money Venus is happy to focus on the low hanging fruit. Normally moving through in just 24 days and focused on both boosting your confidence and attracting income opportunities, Venus is instead here for nearly two months and even then, returning for a double dip visit in December. Venus returns on the 9th September, exactly two months before Jupiter leaves on the 9th November, with the planets of money and luck coming together to bring things home
No planetary activity in either of your two money houses does not mean that nothing is happening, with lot of undercurrents in play. Two things matter to the money gods this month, as they prepare for the start of what are destined to be the most potentially lucrative 13 months in over a decade, which start in early November. Those two things are the Moon's monthly visits to your income sector and what is happening professionally. For while lucky Jupiter won't return to your income sector until the 9th November, this is a time for getting your professional ducks in a row. This makes Mercury's final days in your career sector especially important. While Mercury's departure on the 6th September will bring all planetary activity on the career front to a close, with the North Node here until the 7th November, his aim is to leave you with your head in the game and with a clear sense of professional direction. The two planets in your work sector might be in retrograde motion, but together with the North Node on the career front, they're keeping the wheels turning. A Full Moon in your work sector on the 25th September, could bring unexpected developments on the job front, just six weeks before Jupiter's return to your income sector. The also makes the Moon's monthly visit to your income sector a lot more important, with each visit finding Jupiter four weeks closer, with a chance to start lining up in front of new doors before they open. The Moon will make its monthly visit to your income sector from the 15th September to the 18th September. This will not only sharpen your nose for money as Jupiter literally draws closer by the day, but at a point in the month when forces on the job and career fronts are regrouping.
What is happening on the income front this month is so big that it needs to be taken one day at a time and to a point where you need to stand back and let the money gods take the lead. Not only are the conditions in play nothing like you've ever seen before, this is just the start of an empowered period of potential income growth that will not only continue through to the end of 2020, but each year will get stronger. 2019 will be bigger than 2018 and 2020 bigger than both combined. That is because in December 2019, with the forces in play now still there, lucky Jupiter will return to capitalise on what you're building for now. This makes this as much about what you're able to gain now as it is about building for the future. It is not just having Mars back in for a rare double dip visit to your income sector and back with Saturn and Pluto, but what is happening professionally. The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of September in your career sector, but you not only have Uranus in your work sector for the first time in eight decades, but aligned with Saturn in your income sector, for the first time here in our lifetime. Mars retrograded back into your income sector last month, three months after leaving, with his short double dip visit ending on the 11th September. Mars will want you to capitalise on what you're able to gain now, especially with the professional conditions so good. However, with Saturn only just turning direct in your income sector on the 6th September and Pluto not until the 1st October, they're more focused on slowly building for the future. In the early part of the month in particular, you're able to do both.
When Mars left your income sector last month this should have been the last you will see of him until 2020, with the warrior planet of the cosmos only returning every other year. However, this time Mars didn't leave by moving on, but by retrograding back out. This means that when Mars turned direct on the 28th August, he began moving forward again and on the 11th September will return for a rare double dip visit. Having already spent three months here, but the last six weeks in direct motion, Mars returns to start over again. In direct motion, with 20/20 hindsight to draw on and new doors opening on the career front, the warrior planet of the cosmos means business. Mars won't leave your income sector until the 16th November and with Venus in your career sector until the 9th September, Ceres from the 6th September, Mercury from the 22nd September and the Sun from the 23rd September, his timing couldn't be better. Apart from Venus retuning to your career sector during Mars' final six days last month, Mars has had no support from the professional gods. That has changed considerably and held back by his retrograde phase, Mars will return as a planet on a mission. Normally Mars will spend six weeks here, every other year and this month he will begin a second two month visit, having already spent three months practicing. Fortunately, Mars won't return until the 11th September, giving Mercury time to tie up loose ends on the financial front. Mercury's departure from your financial sector on the 6th September means that Mars will return to find that the financial tension between income and money matters is gone.
The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of September in your financial sector, putting the solar spotlight on your financial situation and money matters. With Neptune in your income sector since 2012, this has meant that there will always be some friction between the two, with no planet able to move through your financial sector without moving into opposition. However, after six years this is now part of the annual pattern, with any opposition brief and a key part in allowing income and money matters to push off each other. This will also expose any balance issues between money coming in and money going out, at a time when both sides have the support to change things. If there is going to be any financial tension it will be when the Sun moves into opposition with Neptune on the 8th/9th September and when Mercury moves into opposition on the 14th September. However, a Full Moon in your income sector late last month should have flushed out any issues. With Mercury and his smart head for money returning to your financial sector on the 6th September, he'll be on hand to see through any financial tension. With Mercury leaving your financial sector on the 22nd September and the Sun on the 23rd September, this will end all planetary activity on the financial front for the year. This makes it important to pay attention while you can. With the support of Saturn, Pluto and Mars in an intuitive and imaginative part of your chart, this can't help but fuel your financial confidence, instincts and imagination. At the same time any pressure on Neptune in your income sector will work to your advantage. With support from Venus and Jupiter, the planets of money and luck in your career sector, this will easily turn into motivation on the income and professional fronts as well.
Any time that you have planetary activity in your income and financial sectors at the same time there is the potential for some financial tension. For as they sit on opposite sides of the sky, this creates the potential for financial tension as the planets move into opposition. However, this year this will not only be at a minimum, but comes with more than enough support to turn this into motivation. I say 'this year', because your income sector is the only area of your chart that has been continuously active for nine decades. As the faster moving planets move through your financial sector once a year, an opposition is a given. However, while Uranus' direct turn last month means he is heading back to your income sector, arriving back in time for Jupiter's return to your career sector in November, not having him here now is creating a lot less tension. The Sun's return to your financial sector on the 23rd September is something that happens at this time every year, turning the solar spotlight onto your financial situation and money matters. Mercury's return on the 22nd September will give you the smart head for money needed to get your head in the game, able to make smart financial choices, decisions and plans. Before she leaves on the 9th September, Venus is more focused on the 'what' than on the 'when, where and how', with her job being to fuel your financial confidence and a sense of what's possible. It is the Sun and Mercury who can turn desires into reality. Ceres, Venus' sister planet will return on the 6th September, keeping her seat warm until the Sun and Mercury returns. While Venus wants it now, Ceres returns with a chance to redefine your definition of financial success, looking beyond the money to your real needs and priorities.
